JN PROJECTS: TALENT AGENCY THE ZINGHOPPERS LIVE A break-dancing donkey. A hip-hopping kangaroo. A singing possum. A friendly train conductor. A funky DJ. It's your child's favorite band, the Zinghoppers...and they're bringing their live show to you! Get ready to rock, bop and zinghop in a fully choreographed stage show launched in the fall of 2011. Created for preschool and early elementary age children, the band has since gone on to gain fans of all ages who love quirky electro dance music, cartoonish hip-hop and happy, bubblegum pop. Their high-energy, interactive shows are polished and professional, educational and entertaining. The band has been named "Best Children's Entertainers" by Parent Magazine for the past three years and have multiple GRAMMY ballot and EMMY nominations. Their television show is seen on select PBS stations and on KidzBop On Demand nationwide. They have appeared at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and at thousands of performing arts centers, theaters, fairs, festivals, malls and amusement parks nationwide. In 2011 the band had the honor to represent the United States on a 17 country world tour sponsored by the Pentagon and Armed Forces Entertainment, where they performed for US military families serving in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. SHOW SPECS The Zinghoppers LIVE show has three touring configurations: 1. TRIO (Penelope The Possum, Conductor Jack, DJ Kitty) 2. CORE CAST (the "core five" from the TV series: possum, donkey, kangaroo, DJ, train conductor) 3. FULL CAST (the "core five" from the TV series and four additional backup dancers) Each engagement may consist of up to three 30 minute appearances (or two 45 minute appearances) by the Zinghoppers per day. These appearances can consist of either the Stage Show or Roving Character Appearances. VIDEO SAMPLES SHOW PROVIDES Band: costumes and talent Marketing Support: artwork and press release (for print media), audio and video files (for radio and television) and additional digital resources for advertising/promotion Educational Support: our show was created by two teachers and our TV show has an educational advisory team (as per the standard for PBS); therefore, we can provide you with a Curriculum Guide and Teacher Support Materials for your education director Band instruments and props: keyboard, guitars, turntable/DJ booth along with all related props (if this is a fly date, keyboard and DJ booth will need to be provided) Staging/Technical: 6.3" x 6.6" backdrop with frame and DJ booth with signage (in some cases the band can also provide their own sound system) Web Support: advertisement for your event on Zinghoppers.com and our related social media outlets Band Per Diem: cast members are given a per diem for food, drinks and related expenses Tour Manager: in most cases, a fully-qualified Tour Manager (with experience in Sound/Tech as well as Event Merchandising) travels with the band HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS 2 people per room beginning 1 night prior to event through final day of event BUYER SUPPLIES 20' x 20' covered stage with an enclosed backdrop, theater wings or small changing area located immediately beside stage PA System with DI for DJ booth and several vocal microphones (Stage Plot/Tech Needs available by request) and qualified Sound/Tech person to support One case of chilled water (minimum of 24 bottles) and one (1) towel per cast member for each performance Secure dressing rooms (male and female) large enough to accommodate our cast with hanging racks for costumes and chairs Stage lighting can be a basic wash; required for outdoor events at night Transportation: passenger van accommodating up to 15 people (only required if this is a fly date) Parking passes and admission passes for entire cast If ticketed event or admission-based show, the band requires up to twenty (20) complimentary guest passes Staff member provided to help the costumed characters during meet and greets Two (2) 8 foot tables for Zinghoppers merchandise COST Please inquire for an exact quote based upon your venue or event Note: all dates not in the United States will include routing, border costs and taxes ADDITIONAL SHOW OFFERINGS Launching in November 2012, the Zinghoppers are offering a holiday stage show CONTACT David Axelrod at david@jacknorton.net or 1.800.970.0563 Additional promotional materials are available by request Be sure to visit the Zinghoppers Official Site
